Basesync was a simple, web-based service that automated the process of uploading and syncing the product inventory of Shopify stores with Google Base.

During the last 15 months we've made over 90 million product insertions for hundreds of Shopify stores. The result of our service was millions of clicks by shoppers worldwide and many thousands of dollars of revenue for the shop owners we represented.

On September 14, 2009 we closed this service in lieu of features that will be integrated directly within Shopify. All existing customers have received an email announcement to this effect and have been given the opportunity to move onto their own Google Base account for manual management in the immediate term.
